当地时间25日，据卡塔尔方面消息，一名了解伊朗高级代表团在多哈会谈情况的消息人士表示，在卡塔尔斡旋下，美国与伊朗已就伊朗被冻结金融资产问题达成一项谅解。
该消息人士说，由于被冻结金融资产问题对伊朗至关重要，美伊双方“很有可能”于26日宣布达成协议。
卡塔尔外交部一名官员当天表示，一个伊朗高级代表团在多哈参加会谈，代表团成员包括伊朗伊斯兰议会议长卡利巴夫和外交部长阿拉格齐。此次会谈旨在讨论美伊间达成协议、结束战争的可能性，重点讨论霍尔木兹海峡、伊朗高浓缩铀库存、伊朗海外被冻结资金等问题。伊朗央行行长在代表团中负责讨论最终协议可能涉及的金融相关事项。
