On December 30th, the National Development and Reform Commission officially released the "Notice on Implementing the Large-Scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade-In Policy in 2026," clarifying the support scope, subsidy standards, and work requirements for the "Two New" policies in 2026. Starting January 1st, JD.com will fully facilitate the implementation of the national subsidies across both its online and offline channels. Consumers purchasing designated refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, computers, and water heaters from JD.com can receive a subsidy of up to 1,500 yuan per item/transaction; for designated mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches/bands, and smart glasses, the subsidy reaches up to 500 yuan per item/transaction. The maximum cumulative savings per individual can amount to 11,000 yuan. Online, shoppers can access the promotion page by opening the JD.com app and searching for "National Subsidy." Offline, nearly 30,000 JD MALLs, JD Electronics City Flagship Stores, JD Homes, and JD Appliance Specialty Stores across the country are simultaneously prepared. To better support the widespread implementation of the trade-in policy and further boost rural consumption, JD.com, while facilitating the trade-in program, has allocated nearly 300 billion yuan cumulatively in 2025 for townships and areas below that level, dedicated to product subsidies, marketing promotions, logistics fulfillment, and service capacity enhancement. To enhance the national subsidy experience, JD.com offers additional subsidies for recycling old appliances, provides integrated "delivery, installation, disassembly, and collection" services, and a "Three Frees, Four No Limits" service (free door-to-door pickup, free disassembly, and free removal of old units; no restrictions on the original purchase channel, brand, age, or condition of the old appliance). For 3C digital products, JD.com can deliver to the customer's doorstep and complete on-site receipt and activation, allowing consumers to upgrade their devices without leaving home. Regarding fund security, JD.com utilizes a fully digitalized process to ensure compliance and traceability of funds. Over the past few years, JD.com has actively partnered with numerous local governments on consumption promotion initiatives, continuously optimizing capabilities to prevent subsidy fraud and reseller speculation.
