券商中国消息，据英国金融时报报道，两名消息人士表示，作为重大策略转变的一环，腾讯控股提出一个软目标，即今年减持人民币1000亿元上市公司股票投资，具体情况将取决于市况与内部获利目标。
不过，知情人士说，虽然腾讯正在推动减码美团等中国大型公司股权，但由于美团业绩不俗，因此美团并非腾讯售股优先考虑目标。当然，减持可望减轻腾讯的压力。
知情人士说，腾讯新策略并非出于迫切现金需求，而出售收益可透过多种方式分配，包括向股东派发特别股息、买回自家股票及员工奖金。
据香港媒体报道，腾讯发言人对此表示，没为减持设定任何目标金额；腾讯的投资一向以为公司和股东创造丰厚回报为目标，而不是要在任何既定时间内达到一定金额；腾讯亦没受到针对投资组合的外部压力。
