Eli Lilly is in advanced talks to buy Ventyx Biosciences for more than $1 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter. Shares of Ventyx surged 68% in premarket trading following the report, which said the deal could be announced imminently.

Critical Metals shares soared another 11.5% in premarket trading on Wednesday after a 26% rally in prior trading session amid rising speculation over whether the Donald Trump administration will lead the U.S. into acquiring Greenland from Denmark.

A U.S. acquisition of Greenland stands to benefit Critical Metals, which is developing a major rare earths project– Tanbreez– in the region.

Mobileye shares jumped over 10% in premarket trading, after the company announced a $900 million acquisition of humanoid robotics startup Mentee Robotics. The deal is expected to combine Mobileye’s AI technology and production capabilities with Mentee’s humanoid robot platform, positioning the company as a leader in both autonomous driving and humanoid robotics markets.

MSCI said on Tuesday it will not proceed with a proposal to exclude digital asset treasury companies, or DATCOs, from its indexes, but will launch a broader consultation on how non-operating companies should be treated. That means Strategy will remain in the firm's global benchmarks for now. Strategy shares jumped 5.7% in premarket trading.
