JD.com stated that for purchases of designated refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, computers, and water heaters under the program, the maximum subsidy per item/transaction is 1,500 RMB. For purchases of designated mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches/bands, and smart glasses, the maximum subsidy per item/transaction is 500 RMB. An individual's cumulative savings can reach up to 11,000 RMB! Furthermore, starting January 1st, consumers can also enjoy discounts of up to 50% off when purchasing mobile phones, computers, appliances, and other goods on JD.com after claiming the "National Subsidy"!
The specific process for claiming and using the subsidy is as follows: On the UnionPay App homepage, users need to enable location permissions and set their location to a city within Hebei Province -> Click "河北焕新潮" (Hebei Renewal Wave) -> Enter the "National Subsidy Activity" section to claim the subsidy -> Scroll down and select the "Online Voucher Claim Entry" -> Choose a city to receive eligibility. Subsequently, open the JD.com App or the JD.com shopping mini-program on WeChat, search for "河北以旧换新" to enter the Hebei activity page. Users can browse and select products there or directly search for eligible items; the delivery address must be within Hebei Province. Both JD Pay and UnionPay can be used to enjoy the subsidy.
Users can choose to purchase products outright or opt to place an order using the trade-in option; both methods are eligible for the "National Subsidy." Since the implementation of the "Two New" policy in 2024, JD.com alone invested nearly 30 billion RMB in 2025 to support the "National Subsidy" program in rural areas, promoting the revitalization of rural consumption and high-quality economic growth.
