Shares of major memory and data storage companies fell in premarket trading on Tuesday as the sector faced broad selling pressure.
Leading the decline, SanDisk Corp. and Western Digital both dropped more than 5%. Other key players in the storage space also retreated, with SK hynix, Micron Technology, and Seagate Technology PLC each losing over 4% before the opening bell.
