2026 National Subsidy Program's First Transaction Lands at Guangzhou JD MALL

Deep News01-01 00:31

At the stroke of midnight on January 1st, as the New Year bells chimed, the 2026 national subsidy program officially commenced. During the New Year's Eve celebration at Guangzhou JD MALL, Ms. Wu successfully placed an order immediately after midnight, becoming the first consumer to benefit from the 2026 national subsidy initiative.

According to the National Development and Reform Commission, starting January 1, 2026, individual consumers purchasing mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches or fitness bands (with a single-item selling price not exceeding 6,000 yuan), and smart glasses will receive a subsidy equivalent to 15% of the product's sales price. Each consumer can claim one subsidized item per category, with a maximum subsidy of 500 yuan per item. For purchases of six major appliance categories—refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, computers, and water heaters—that meet Grade 1 energy efficiency or water efficiency standards, a 15% subsidy applies. Each consumer is eligible for one subsidized item per category, capped at 1,500 yuan per item.

Following the policy announcement, JD.com has once again fully implemented the national subsidy program. Online, consumers can access the promotion page by opening the JD App and searching for "national subsidy." Offline, nearly 30,000 JD MALL locations, JD Electronics city flagship stores, JD Homes, and JD appliance specialty stores across the country are simultaneously prepared for the rollout.
