At the core of a company, it's not about the stock price, it's about what they're actually building. I could comfortably step away right now from RKLB. But I'm nowhere near ready to do that.

The eight advanced satellite platforms are the first batch in a constellation of 17 platforms Rocket Lab has built under a $143 million deal with MDA Space. MDA Space is the prime contractor for replenishing Globalstar's existing constellation, which provides direct-to-device communications and IoT applications from orbit.

A clean break through the 50-day MA would improve the structure quite a bit. After that, you're looking at $89.93, the 100-day MA, and eventually the $93.30 upper Ichimoku boundary. A move through that whole zone would be a much more meaningful technical breakout, not just a quick news pop.

$Iridium(IRDM)$ Why is the price so low? Rocketlab is selling stock to fund the acquisition. It seems like a sure thing. Shouldn't it be trading closer to the buyout price?

They signed $437 million in new Electron, HASTE and Neutron launch contracts, and the backlog reached a record $2.36 billion with about $2.13 billion in cash on hand. On the other side, they posted a Q2 loss of eight cents per share, just missing the estimate for a seven-cent loss. Guidance was strong regardless — they're guiding Q3 revenue to $250 million to $265 million against estimates of $238.53 million, with an expected adjusted EBITDA loss of $17 million to $23 million.
