They're tasked with designing and building two geostationary satellites that will host the Heimdall space domain awareness payload. This marks their first satellite production program for GEO. They'll act as the prime contractor and handle everything end-to-end: spacecraft design and manufacture, integration of the in-house Heimdall optical payload, launch integration, and on-orbit operations for up to five years. The satellites will be built on their Lightning bus, which is already in production for other programs. This contract builds on a previous
