Crypto such as Bitcoin is still very volatile unlike gold. I believe Gold still a much more stable haven for most people compared to Bitcoin which is more risky. My strategy for now probably will just allocate 1-5% of my portfolio to cryptos and a bigger allocation to gold and silver.

$VXX 20251107 45.0 CALL$ VXX: collected $240 (2.65%) for these covered calls with strike at $45. Contracts expires in 5 weeks on 7th Nov. Strike price is far away from current closing at $33.25. Would take a significant volatility event to have any meaningful spike in VXX. So far will need to strategize how to unwind my pretty large positions on VXX long which is losing money by the day due to decays.
