Decided to close the trade few hours earlier and take the win instead.  Stock ended up $48.37, and down 7.17% for the week after rising the last 4 prior weeks.  Long term still bullish so this will give me a chance to sell fresh put with lower strike. 

$SBET CALENDAR 250905/250919 PUT 17.0/PUT 17.0$ Rolling this expiring and losing trade by another 2 weeks to September 19 to buy some extra time. SBET had fallen by another 16.19% last week after fallen 14.61% in the week prior and now closed at $14.94. The sharp reversal will get me thinking to make sure I'm now nursing this back to health and probably won't add more positions.  Well my risk taker side is telling me to load up 🤣 I'll sleep over this.

I believe Palantir will take longer to pull back or at least consolidate, given its massive surge over a short period. The stock's rapid rise, with a 151% gain earlier this year, suggests it might need time to stabilize after such a steep climb. This kind of momentum often leads to a period of adjustment rather than an immediate drop. In my view, the valuation does seem pretty high at the moment. After touching that intraday high of $190 on August 12 and then dropping as much as 25% before a slight recovery, the current price reflects some overextension. This could mean that consolidation, rather than a sharp decline, is more likely in the near term as the market finds a new equilibrium. I see $150 as a critical support level. $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ Initially set at $188 PLTR stock price to take profit, changed my mind and closed at $157.13 as I'm happy with +$80. Less to think about too when juggling other trades 💀

$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ META: Take loss. End of the road for this unprofitable trade to short META when it's one of the hottest AI players around.  Strong thematic tail wind and strong cash flow generated on it's resilient business means the company is not going to go down significantly anytime soon.  Instead of being stubborn and holding on to a pretty obviously losing trade, I'm closing this and move on.  In fact I might even join the ride and turn long on META.  Shorting META is certainly unprofitable in the duration I've been doing that and I'm paying for my lessons.

Google has finally reached an all-time high. If you feel like you’ve missed yet another opportunity to invest, don’t worry — stocks rarely move up in a straight line. I accumulated my position during peak fear, when many were saying that ChatGPT might replace search. I tried to explain to some of my friends otherwise, none of them actually listen.
