$VXX 20250912 34.0 PUT$ VXX: collect $120 (1.75%) premium on these short puts with strike at $34. Contract expires in 2.5 weeks on 12th Sept.  VXX had dropped 25% since high on 1st Aug and it's in a sharp volatile drop in a very long while.  Opportunity to pick up additional shares at lower cost and also average down my existing holdings if assigned.  In the past 2 months, the trade on this asset is not profitable so please be aware when you read this post.

GDX is approaching resistance near but still showing very strong upward momentum.  Setup is to check for reversal, failure which assignment risk is likely.
