No and surely not in 2025, simply because Quantum Computing is still in their early stages. AI is already transforming industries and with Quantum continuous advancements, AI will also benefit and advance its transformation further by improving optimization, speeding up training for machine learning models, and solving problems that classical computers are currently struggling with.

Investing in quantum computing today is often compared to investing in Microsoft in the 1980s, but there are key differences. It's a promising field with potential, but it's not a guaranteed win. Similarities: - Early Stage Technology: Both Microsoft in the 1980s and quantum computing today represent disruptive technologies with immense potential to revolutionize their respective fields. - High Growth Potential: Both had the potential for massive growth and market dominance. Differences: - Maturity: Microsoft had already established a solid foundation with its operating system and software products in the 1980s. Quantum computing is still in its early stages, with significant challenges to overcome before widespread adoption. - Competition: Microsoft faced less competition in the early day

How to lower your risk when investing in quantum companies?  Choose $D-Wave Quantum Inc.(QBTS)$ As it did an $150M offering recently at us$6.0+ per share. Anything g less than that is not as risky. Personally I always go in at $5.45 And sold between 6 to 6.2.

Quantum Computing vs. AI: The Next Big Thing or Just More Hype? Quantum computing is making waves in 2025, but let’s get real—will it outshine AI, or is it just another round of "next big thing" hype? Could we be staring at the "Microsoft-in-the-'80s" moment for stocks like QUBT, or is this still more sci-fi than reality? Quantum Computing: Breakthrough Coming or Just More Promises? Tech insiders are buzzing about a potential breakthrough within 18 months, which could supercharge industries like finance, pharma, and energy. That’s great—if it actually happens. 10 Stocks on My Watchlist Today: Focusing on Potential Rebounds

As I prepare for the U.S. markets to open later today, I'm closely monitoring 10 stocks on my watchlist. The stocks are ranked by percentage decline, starting with the most decreased yesterday. My focus primarily lies on stocks with sharp declines because they often present opportunities for a rebound. However, I'll take into consideration why the stock fell before making any decisions. My Trading Philosophy Focus on Oversold Stocks: When stocks fall dramatically, they can sometimes become oversold, presenting opportunities for a potential recovery. Investigate the Cause: I look for the reason behind the drop. If it's market panic or an overreaction without valid fundamentals, it might be a buying opportunity. Avoid Weak Fundamentals: If the stock decline stems from company-specific issues

When quantitative strategies swoon, could the faith in mathematics falter? — Taking the current U.S. stock market as example

As a group of mathematicians and physicists entered Wall Street since the 1980s, quantitative investment strategies have gradually become the fad. The successful icons of this move were Jim Simons' Renaissance Technologies and D.E. Shaw's eponymous quant fund. This shift led to the increasing desertion and skepticism toward qualitative strategies, a trend that closely aligns with what I observed during my tenure on Wall Street, intermingling with various institutions. Of all quant strategies, a widely favored and easy-to-implement framework is the multi-factor strategy. This approach simply extracts/mining various factors from a factor zoo and uses back testing to determine their efficacy and weights. However, in an era where factors are becoming crowded, multi-factor strategies have undou

      LION-PHILLIP S-REIT (CLR.SI) – A Closer Look at Potential and Risks

$LION-PHILLIP S-REIT(CLR.SI)$ I've been closely monitoring the performance of the LION-PHILLIP S-REIT (CLR.SI) recently. This exchange-traded fund (ETF) is traded in Singapore dollars (SGD) and closed at $0.8010 today, representing a 0.37% decline from last Friday's close. Over the past year, the ETF has seen a 52-week low of $0.7471 and a 52-week high of $0.9130. Given its current price, it will be added to my consideration list for potential purchase if it experiences further declines. This ETF consists of a basket of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), making it inherently safer than investing in individual REITs. This diversification helps mitigate the risks associated with any single asset in the portfolio. This is one of the key reasons

High Dividend Yield: My Journey with Ready Capital Corp (RC)

I’m a bagholder of Ready Capital Corp (RC). But you know what? Sometimes being a bagholder of a high-dividend stock isn’t the worst thing in the world. If I weren’t a bagholder, I probably would have sold it earlier. I don’t sell stocks at unrealized losses—that’s just not my style. So, I’ve decided to keep it. I bought RC at $8 per share, and on Friday, it closed at $7.45. That’s a drop, sure, but RC just announced its quarterly dividend of $0.25 per share, payable on January 31 to shareholders of record on December 31. Historically, this stock pays dividends four times a year, with ex-dividend dates in March, June, September, and December. Here’s why, despite the drop, I’m still holding on and even seeing some positives in this situation. 1. The High Yield Makes Up for the Drop Let’s do

I strive to remain emotionless [What] regardless of whether my portfolio is rising or falling. I approach my investments with a clear, logical mindset, using my brain instead of my heart to guide my decisions. This mental discipline helps me avoid making impulsive choices that are driven by emotions such as fear, greed, or excitement. When my stocks experience a significant drop, I try to detach myself from the emotional aspects of the situation. Rather than feeling fear or panic, I remind myself that I only invest what I can afford to lose. This approach prevents me from making hasty decisions that might lead to unnecessary losses.
