The best investment I made this year was my investment in genuine social connection. I took up Airsoft and spent money on gear to lend to friends who can now join me. I also took a gamble on going out to a disco, taking the bus in the freezing cold and putting myself out there in a way that my programming has long warned me against. I did spent some $80 on several nice drinks, one of which included brine and a pickle garnish (making it technically a snack), necessitating some financing.

My best investment is  $DBS(D05.SI)$ which I bought around SGD16 during the COVID crash and then swing traded from SGD20 to SGD25. The dividend yield on cost is ~19% now and capital appreciation ~460%.
