This is my long term investment with bull case below.
Monopoly-like Position: TransMedics is essentially revolutionizing organ transplant therapy. Its Organ Care System (OCS) allows organs to survive significantly longer outside the body than traditional cold-storage methods, drastically increasing the pool of viable transplant organs.
Vertical Integration: To combat logistics bottlenecks, the company aggressively acquired a private aviation fleet (TMDX Aviation). High flight hours suggest strong, durable demand for their dedicated organ-transport services.
Massive Long-Term Goals: The CEO has stated a long-term target of facilitating 30,000 transplants by 2032, generating over $2 billion in annual revenue.
