$ImmunityBio, Inc.(IBRX)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ IBRX Anktiva was approved for a bladder cancer indication last week that triples their patient potential. Almost immediately a big pharma writer at Stat News came out with negative coverage, even though the data was better and adverse events were lower than Merck's Keytruda. Analysts have raised or reiterated price targets. Then today more unknown writers showed up with negative takes. After an early 5% gain, shorts attacked the bids and it closed down 1.20. Short interest was 34% this morning, trapped unless they used illegal tactics to sow doubt. This kind of attack slows funding for trials. The company should have been celebrated for the approval, but the negativity keeps coming. It is no wonder new drugs rarely succeed. If the boss at IBRX were not a multi-billionaire, they would have caught and killed the drug. Anyone wanting to short squeeze these scumbags, the price is $4 plus, below analyst targets today.
