AI Trading Logic: Who is the Top Winner in the Place?
Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you!
1
$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ is reportedly requiring Samsung, $Micron Technology(MU)$ and $SK hynix(SKHY)$ to build the base die for its next-generation custom HBM on $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ 3nm process.
That gives Nvidia more flexibility to shift orders between suppliers as HBM prices rise while putting TSMC in a position to benefit regardless of which memory maker wins the business.
2
HBM prices are projected to more than double to ~$35 per GB by 2030 even as shipments nearly quadruple which is unusual for memory where prices typically fall as production scales.
That combination could push HBM market toward ~$640B by 2030 giving $Micron Technology(MU)$ and $SK hynix(SKHY)$ an opportunity to benefit from both higher volumes and stronger pricing as HBM4 becomes more complex to manufacture.
3
$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ Muse Spark and $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ Gemini cost just ~$0.40 per AI task versus $2.34 for Anthropic Opus 5 showing a nearly 6x gap in the cost of intelligence.
The advantage for Google and Meta is that they can monetize AI through Cloud, ads and commerce giving them a ton more flexibility to price models aggressively without relying entirely on subscriptions.
I also think AI agents will start choosing the cheapest model that gets job done which puts pressure on premium models to justify their pricing while more of AI value shifts toward companies controlling AI infrastructure and distribution.
4
I've been using this drawdown to build my 'Physical AI' basket because as AI moves into the real world I think some of biggest opportunities will come from companies developing the sensing & computing tech behind robotics, industrial automation & defense.
Here's where I've been building exposure:
• $Vishay Precision(VPG)$ gives machines a sense of touch
• $Ouster Inc.(OUST)$ gives them the ability to see in 3D
• $Ambiq Micro(AMBQ)$ helps them run AI longer on battery power
• $One Stop Systems(OSS)$ gives them computing power to operate without the cloud
