😀Hi Tigers,
As the Q3 earnings season unfolds, we’re taking a closer look at potential outperformers from two key angles: EPS expectations and dividend performance.
In the first part, we highlight the top 20 stocks by market capitalization with stronger EPS estimates ahead of their earnings, scheduled between October 12 and October 16.
🎁Weekly Higher EPS Estimates: TSM, JPM, ASML, BAC, UNH & More
1. Why EPS Matters?
Earnings per share(EPS) refer to the income per share brought to investors/shareholders in the open market.
EPS is calculated as a company's profit divided by the outstanding shares of its common stock. The resulting number serves as an indicator of a company's profitability.
Investors like companies with high profitability, and the market always rewards those earnings results that beat the estimates. Hope the following content helps you learn more about good companies.

🎁Capturing Top 10 Ex-dividend: DAC, PNC, GHC, ABBV, ACN…
1. Which High Ex-dividend Stock (on October 12 ~ October 16) Do You Like the Most?
This week’s ex-dividend list includes big names like $Danaos(DAC)$ and $PNC Financial Services Group Inc(PNC)$. These stocks are about to put decent dividends into your pocket, but which one fits your dividend watch list best?
Editor's notes:
A dividend-paying stock ex-dividend date, or ex-date, is very important to investors. In a nutshell, if you buy a dividend stock before the ex-dividend date, then you will receive the next upcoming dividend payment.
If you purchase the stock on or after the ex-dividend date, you will not receive the dividend. Some investors utilize strategies whereby they will purchase stocks just prior to an ex-dividend date and sell shortly thereafter.
2. YTD26 of the Above 10 Stocks are as Below:
TradingView’s 2026 data put $Danaos(DAC)$ , $PNC Financial Services Group Inc(PNC)$, $Graham(GHC)$, $AbbVie(ABBV)$ , $Elbit Systems Ltd(ESLT)$, $City(CHCO)$ ,$American(AFG)$, and InterDigital (IDCC) in positive territory, while $Accenture PLC(ACN)$ and $Mid-America Apartment Communities(MAA)$ lost ground.

TSMC is more than an AI stock; it is the manufacturing backbone of the semiconductor industry. Its advanced process technology and CoWoS packaging give it a strategic advantage as demand for AI accelerators grows. Q3 revenue surged 50% year over year to NT$1.49 trillion, reinforcing the strength of its underlying business.
However, strong earnings alone do not guarantee further upside. With expectations already elevated, I will focus on gross margins, capacity expansion, capital expenditure, and management’s 2027 outlook. Rising Treasury yields and geopolitical risks also deserve attention.
My strategy is to judge TSMC by its ability to turn AI demand into sustainable free cash flow, rather than chase short-term earnings surprises. For dividend investors, PNC is worth monitoring, but I believe TSMC offers a more compelling long-term growth story.

For me, EPS growth is important, but I also look at revenue growth, profit margins, capital expenditure, and management’s forward guidance. Even if earnings beat expectations, I want to see whether the growth is sustainable and whether the valuation remains reasonable.
My strategy is to hold quality companies for the long term and accumulate gradually on meaningful pullbacks rather than chase short-term rallies. AI demand remains a key growth driver for TSMC, and I will be watching its latest earnings closely for signs that this momentum can continue.
