trattoria da ettore napoli - TripAdvisor recommendation. No regrets! It is better tasting than Osteria Della Mattonella. Their prices are very close to one another. Both restaurants need reservations by phone booking - they don't accept walk-in customers or advanced booking for next day. 11am phone booking.
Osteria has 2 seatings ie 6+pm or 8+pm whereas Trattoria serves 8-10pm for dinner.

Clams sphagetti & meat balls. Very strange way of having dinner in Naples. 1st course is pasta & 2nd course is meat or cheese. You can skip 1st course and go straight to 2nd course.

- Wayneqq·10-06 09:04TOPThat is standard for Italians.. They have 3 course meal... First is antipasti.. or appetiser.. typically some variant of pasta or ham and melon.. one of my favourite... second is their "main course".. which is like out western.. meat.. and sides.. and third is dessert.. tiramisu or Panna Cotta etc.. paired with wine..1Report
