Big news for the global marine energy sector with the official opening of the PacWave South test facility off the coast of Oregon, USA.
PacWave South is a large step forward for open-ocean testing in North America. As a pre-permitted, grid-connected site, it establishes a clear pathway for utility-scale testing and commercial validation of wave energy technologies in the United States. PacWave joins a select group of world-class facilities, including BiMEP in Spain, purpose-built to test ocean energy technologies like CETO.
