Boss Almost Got Scammed by Old Town Char Kway Teow

Out for dinner with my boss yesterday, and he was this close to ordering Lao Fu Zi Char Kway Teow.

Remember when they used to sell medium for $6 and large for $8 ? Well, now $8 is the ONLY option on the menu.

I literally had to intervene and warn him: Do NOT buy this, or I will scold you.

The taste is dead average, the portion size is a total joke for $8, and it’s completely lost its touch.

That Michelin Bib Gourmand badge is just a giant scam sign.

Save your money. $8 for Char Kway Teow is absolute robbery! 🚫🍝
