$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ DELL just gave the entire AI infrastructure sector a massive validation.
DELL Q2:
Revenue: $46.97B, up from $29.78B YoY
AI-optimized server revenue: $16.4B, +100% YoY
Infrastructure revenue: $31.8B, +89%
AI server orders: $60.9B
AI backlog: $95B
Infrastructure operating income: $4.8B, +225%
This is the takeaway for SMCI bulls: AI infrastructure demand isn't slowing down, it's exploding.
Dell and Supermicro are competing for the same historic buildout of GPU clusters, liquid-cooled racks and next-generation AI data centers. When Dell is booking nearly $61 billion of AI server orders in one quarter, that destroys the narrative that AI server demand is disappearing.
And SMCI is sitting directly in the middle of this cycle with NVIDIA/AMD platforms, rack-scale architecture, DLC leadership and its own massive order pipeline.
The market just rewarded DELL for proving the demand.
Now ask yourself: What happens when Wall Street starts valuing SMCI like an AI infrastructure growth company again instead of permanently pricing in yesterday's controversy?
Dell's numbers aren't bearish for SMCI.
They're confirmation that the AI infrastructure super-cycle is very real.
The money is pouring into AI servers. SMCI just needs to execute.
