$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ Robotaxi momentum is accelerating fast. The Dallas service area just expanded from roughly 31 to 81 square miles, about 2.6X larger. Austin is rapidly scaling fully unsupervised rides with nobody onboard. 79 additional Tesla Robotaxis were reportedly registered in Texas in a single day. Cybercabs with no steering wheel, no pedals and no driver are already testing on public Austin roads. The official Cybercab launch is confirmed for September 3.
This is moving from concept to validation to deployment to scale. And if Tesla opens Cybercab reservations at the launch, I'd be in for ten.
The market still isn't pricing in what happens when Tesla combines purpose-built Robotaxis, its expanding network and the lowest-cost autonomy platform at global scale.
The autonomy flywheel is beginning to spin.
