The recent correction in ServiceNow (NOW) has only strengthened my conviction, which is why I'm continuing to dollar-cost average into the stock. Could it drift lower in the short term? Of course. But after the latest pullback, I believe the market has become a little too pessimistic. For a company with ServiceNow's quality and long-term growth potential, this correction looks slightly overdone to me.
My bullish view is centered on the long-term outlook for enterprise software. As businesses accelerate digital transformation and AI adoption, software platforms that improve productivity and automate workflows should remain critical spending priorities. ServiceNow has consistently expanded beyond IT service management into AI-powered enterprise workflows, giving it multiple avenues for sustained growth over the coming years.
Rather than trying to predict the perfect bottom, I prefer accumulating shares gradually whenever the market offers attractive opportunities. High-quality software companies rarely stay discounted for long, and temporary weakness often creates the best entry points for long-term investors. That's why I'm sticking with a disciplined DCA strategy instead of reacting to short-term price swings.
For me, this isn't a trade based on the next earnings report or the next market headline. It's an investment in a business that I believe will continue benefiting from the AI-driven software transformation. The current pullback may still have some room to run, but I believe the long-term trend remains intact. As long as the fundamentals don't change, I'll continue adding to my ServiceNow position with patience and conviction.
As a retail investor, I focus mainly on the US and Singapore markets, combining a mix of technical trading and long-term investing strategies. I enjoy analyzing charts, spotting patterns, and making calculated moves based on both market sentiment and fundamentals. While I'm not a professional, I treat my portfolio seriously and continue to learn and grow with each trade.
