The spending cycle for AI infrastructure seems to be picking up speed. According to Morgan Stanley, the combined capital expenditure from the major players could reach significant levels in the coming years.

For $Microsoft(MSFT)$ , $Alphabet(GOOG)$ , $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ , and $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ , the total CapEx is projected to be around $1.2 trillion in 2027 and roughly $1.4 trillion in 2028.

Another key point is the potential expansion of available computing capacity, which could increase from about 30GW in 2025 to nearly 120GW by 2028—a fourfold jump.
