$Broadcom(AVGO)$  one of the most overlooked winners of the AI boom because while everyone focuses on NVIDIA as the “brain” of AI, the real scaling problem is happening in connectivity and infrastructure. AI systems dont fail because of a lack of compute, but because of data movement, networking speed, and system integration at massive scale, and this is where Broadcom dominates. The company is deeply embedded with hyperscalers through custom AI chips, high-speed networking, and long-term infrastructure partnerships, giving it multi-year demand visibility and sticky, high-margin revenue streams. Its not a hype-driven AI stock, which is why it gets less retail attention, but institutions increasingly view it as a core AI backbone holding. In simple terms, NVIDIA builds the AI brain, while Broadcom builds the nervous system that allows it to actually function at scale.

AVGO is the plumbing everyone ignores lol. Custom silicon plus networking is the moat here — who else is this embedded with hyperscalers?

Agreed. The more I research AVGO, the more it feels like a classic "picks and shovels" play. Everyone notices the AI models, but Broadcom is helping build the infrastructure that lets those models operate at scale. The deeper they get with hyperscalers, the stronger the moat becomes.

Still bullish, because recent news flow supports AI/custom silicon demand visibility and longer-duration revenue clarity.
