Option Stratgies: .SPX& QQQ

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you!

1

From early February into the end of March, we watched $S&P 500(.SPX)$ drop nearly 700 points. Every week felt worse than the last. Retail kept trying to buy every dip and got chopped up. By the time we bottomed, sentiment was at max fear. No confidence, no hope.

And we bottomed around the same time as 2025… in April.

Now flip it.

When $S&P 500(.SPX)$ reclaims 7000, you’re going to see the same emotion… just in the opposite direction. Doubt, fear mongering, people calling tops the entire way up into 7700–8000.

Traders will try to short when they should be going long. And most will miss the move.

When there’s momentum, you ride it. Don’t try to be a hero and pick the top.

7000 is the level. Watch how price reacts there and don’t miss it.

Caught 350% on $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ calls this week. Here’s why I took the trade 👇

$Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ was holding the 586 level all session and was approaching a key 591 level. I knew if we broke 591 there would be a massive move to 603 next.

The market had been choppy, but I was watching for strength to show up after consolidation.

We started to see buyers step in and hold higher lows, which told me momentum was building.

I took QQQ April 10 590C around $4.40 as we started pushing out of that base.

Decided to take off 1/2 into strength due to headline risk with Iran potentially not agreeing to a ceasefire.

Then we got the headline:

“Trump agrees to two-week Iran ceasefire to finalize talks”

That was the catalyst that sent the market into the next leg higher.

Closed the remainder of the position at $20.00 for a 350% gain!

Key Takeaway

1. Always trim into strength especially if there is headline risk,

2. If the market is consolidating after a big move up usually you see follow.
