On March 13, Amazon and Cerebras Systems unveiled a collaboration to deliver the world’s fastest AI inference solutions on Amazon Bedrock. By leveraging a ‘disaggregated inference’ model, AWS Trainium handles the compute-heavy prefill stage, while Cerebras CS-3 accelerates the memory-intensive decode stage. This architecture promises a significant boost in speed and performance for generative AI and LLM workloads, positioning Amazon as a leader in AI cloud infrastructure. The move strengthens my conviction in AMZN’s long-term growth in AI-driven services.
