Google Unveils Gemini 3.0: Key Supply Chain Players to Watch

Amid concerns over an AI bubble sweeping through U.S. tech stocks, $Alphabet(GOOG)$   has bucked the trend and taken a completely different path from most of the other "Magnificent Seven", recently hitting a new high. News of Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway purchasing shares has once again brought it into the spotlight.

Google launched its latest AI model Gemini 3 on November 18, introducing state-of-the-art reasoning, multimodal understanding, and agentic coding capabilities. The new AI model will allow users to get better answers to more complex questions, “so you get what you need with less prompting,” Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai said in one of several blog posts Google published Tuesday.

Gemini 3 will be integrated into the Gemini app, Google's AI search products AI Mode and AI Overviews, as well as its enterprise products. The rollout begins Tuesday for select subscribers and will go out more broadly in the coming weeks.

The company also released Google Antigravity, a new agentic development platform for software engineers, and introduced Gemini Deep Think, an enhanced reasoning model that will become available to premium users.

Gemini 3 “significantly outperforms 2.5 Pro on every major AI benchmark,” Pichai said, referring to the previous Gemini model that was released in March of this year. Additionally, Google said that Gemini 3 outperformed rivals ChatGPT 5.1 and Claude Sonnet 4.5 in several key areas such as complex academic and scientific reasoning, novel mathematical problem-solving, and agentic tasks involving screen and video understanding.

Gemini Stock Map

Evercore ISI analyst Mark Mahaney called Gemini 3 “another example of leading innovation” in a Tuesday note. Wall Street analysts are also watching to see if the new model could spur its related industry ecosystem. Previously, moomoo had mapped out the stock plays tied to Claude and Gemini.

In addition to the partners previously mentioned for Gemini, Gemini 3.0 has also added $Figma Inc (FIG.US)$ , $SAP SE (SAP.US)$, $Wayfair (W.US)$, and $Shopify (SHOP.US)$.

"With Gemini 3 Pro in Figma Make, teams have a strong foundation to explore and steer their ideas with code-backed prototypes. The model translates designs with precision and generates a wide, inventive range of styles, layouts, and interactions. As foundation models get better, Figma gets better — and I'm excited to see how Gemini 3 Pro helps our community unlock new creative possibilities,” said Figma Chief Design Officer Loredana Crisan.

Google's TPU Ecosystem

At the compute level, Gemini 3 Pro was trained on Google's in-house TPU clusters, including massive-scale TPU Pods.

External recognition is also growing fast. More than 60% of funded GenAI startups are reported to be using Google Cloud TPU services, and Google has landed high-profile workloads from Anthropic, Midjourney, Hugging Face. The recent Anthropic multi-billion-dollar deal on TPUs is another signal that Google can now displace GPUs on first-tier AI training and serving.

However, Google still purchases a large number of GPUs to provide cloud services. Google Cloud serves Gemini workloads and Vertex AI on $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ GPUs and Blackwell systems.
