AAPL $262 Approaching All-Time High: Stabilizing at $264, Eyeing $270

As of the close on October 21st, $Apple(AAPL)$ was at $262.77, up +0.22% and just shy of its 52-week high of $265.29 (-1.0%).

Catalyst

Over the past three weeks, Apple's stock price has steadily advanced along its short-term moving average, becoming one of the most resilient upward drivers among US stocks.

In terms of driving factors, the iPhone 17 series and wearable device sales exceeded expectations, driving investment expectations for services and AI-related applications (such as the Siri generative voice assistant).

Wall Street is generally bullish on the company's AI integration efforts. Institutional data shows that Apple has invested significantly in its own AI chip development, which has further reinforced investors' belief in the "high-profit hardware + ecosystem lock-in" strategy.

Bullish Setup

Technically, trading volume remains high, the MACD remains positive, and the RSI remains stable in the strong range around 75. The short-term EMA 10/20 moving averages show a healthy bullish structure.

If the stock price can hold above $264, it is expected to challenge the $270-272 range. If there is short-term profit-taking, support lies between $253 and $248.

Valuation

The TTM P/E ratio is approximately 30-31x, slightly higher than the S&P 500 $S&P 500(.SPX)$ average, but still within a reasonable range considering its stable cash flow and repurchase volume.

Institutional target prices are concentrated in the $310-315 range.

Risk Warning

If AI features are delayed or demand for new products falls short of expectations, short-term volatility may increase.
