Small Caps Break Out to New Highs
While $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ and $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ remain mired in last Friday's range, small caps ( $iShares Russell 2000 ETF(IWM)$ ) broke out to a new lifetime high on a closing basis - this is not a bearish signal.
Banks are crushing it ( $Morgan Stanley(MS)$ and $Bank of America(BAC)$ the latest to fly), semis are showing broad strength (even if $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ is snoozing), HYG has clawed back its 50 SMA.
Developments are looking more bullish than bearish
