šŸš€ AMD Triggers ā€œCollaborative Burst Pointā€: From Being Ignored to Under the Spotlight, Where's the Next Step for Funding?

Remember how I wrote this in my September 21 post? šŸ‘‡

ā€œIf cloud vendors (Amazon, Microsoft, Google) directly encode AMD's GPU/CPU orders, or even capital investments, that would be a powerful catalyst.ā€

Today, this prediction has come true —

AMD announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI, which surged to $210 at the close of the stock market.

This is no accident, but the inevitable result of money finding ā€œnew narrativesā€ in the AI semiconductor chain.

šŸ” Why did AMD explode this time?

For the past few months, market logic has been ā€œKing Gloryā€:

• Nvidia monopolizes AI GPUs, with all the funds squeezed in.

• Intel relies on the ā€œbottom bounceā€ sentiment fix.

And what about AMD? In the middle, the technology is not as powerful as Nvidia's monopoly, and the valuation is not cheap — neither the market loves nor hates it.

But the story of AI is always in need of a new protagonist.

The moment OpenAI reached out, the market immediately realized:

→ This is not mere cooperation, but a signal that the power structure of the supply chain may be rewritten.

āš™ļø The strategic meaning of this collaboration

1. Multi-Vendor Strategy Formation

OpenAI means no longer ā€œsingle-handedlyā€ Nvidia. This is a key moment for AMD to open the door to the AI market.

2. AMD Technical Verification Window

The MI300 series can perform well in OpenAI training/administrative tasks, such as earning a Gold Backpack.

For the market, this is a signal that ā€œperformance is no longer a concernā€.

3. The Transformation Point of Capital Narrative

Investors begin to reassess:

NVIDIA wins, Intel is complete, AMD is the next symbol that I can dream of for the image space.

šŸ’° How will the next step of the funds go?

The next round of funds will most likely occur at such a pace:

• Short term (1—2 weeks)

Lido Fermented, Volatility Larger, Short-Line Capital Lock Mainly Not High, Observe Extension of News

• Interim (3—June)

Funds begin to regulate warehouse layouts, gradually establish mid-line segments, fractional low absorption, cloth board support behavior

• Long-term (6—18 months)

AI GPU MARKET EXPANSION, VALUATION OPPORTUNITIES, IF MARKET SHARE EXCEEDS 20%, THERE IS ROOM FOR RE-VALUATION

🧭 strategy

• See if the MI300 and subsequent MI400 continue to take the lead, performance against Nvidia.

• View Capital Trends: If Funds start to flow to AMD from NVDA, a second main line is being formed.

• View Value Risks: AMD is not currently lower than PS and PETO, the Rows must be more volatile. Options structure risks are available (see Bulge Price Differences).

AMD's story didn't start overnight, but the ā€œunderrated middle roleā€ finally came into its own chapter.

The script of the AI track no longer has only one main character —

And Capital Markets is a long way from finding the next person to pay attention to.

Right now, it’s mostly a short-term hype game but if the OpenAI deal pans out and MI300 really takes off in the AI cloud scene,
we could see money start moving from fast flips to a steady mid-term play

The MI300 won’t beat Nvidia anytime soon,
but it finally puts AMD on the map as a real contender in the game

Well, OpenAI has is interested in keeping Opensource GPU architecture competitive by redirecting some money from proprietary architecture. AMD future is as bright and secured for first wave of AI infrastructure build out. 7-10 years?
