U.S. stocks ended moderately lower on Thursday (Oct 2), with most S&P 500 sectors down as economic data increased uncertainty over the outlook for interest rate cuts from the Federal Reserve.

$Tesla(TSLA)$ stock lost 4.4% to close at $423.39 on Thursday. The move followed the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association's (ACEA) release of sales data for August. Tesla sold 8,220 vehicles in the European Union, down 37% year over year.
Based on option delta volume, traders sold a net equivalent of -362,391 shares of $Tesla(TSLA)$ stock. The largest delta volume came from the 26-Sep-25 430 Call, with traders getting short 267,950 deltas on the single option contract.

$Oracle(ORCL)$ stock declined 5.55% on Thursday to $291.33 and continued to drop 2% in premarket trading on Friday after the database-software company sold $18 billion of new investment-grade bonds on Wednesday, up from initial guidance of $15 billion.
Proceeds from the bonds have been earmarked for general corporate purposes, which could include spending on artificial-intelligence infrastructure.
Separately, Rothschild analyst Alex Haissl issued a Sell rating on the stock with a $175 price target, arguing that investors have been “overestimating the value of Oracle’s contracted cloud revenue.”
Based on option delta volume, traders sold a net equivalent of -83,609 shares of $Oracle(ORCL)$ stock. The largest bearish delta came from selling calls. The largest delta volume came from the 26-Sep-25 295 Call, with traders getting short 107,020 deltas on the single option contract.
