Options Market Statistics: Alibaba Jumps 8.19% on Nvidia AI Partnership Buzz

$Intel(INTC)$   commanded robust trader interest with a favorable put/call ratio of 0.39 and an elevated IV rank of 44.04%—the highest among top actives—signaling strong volatility anticipation as volume hit 1.10 million contracts against 6.26 million in open interest. $Alibaba(BABA)$   saw elevated options engagement with a bullish put/call ratio of 0.35 and a high IV rank of 35.86%, reflecting heightened volatility bets as volume reached 0.69 million contracts versus 2.53 million in open interest. Shares advanced 8.19% to $176.44, driven by the September 24 announcement of a strategic partnership with Nvidia to advance Physical AI initiatives, including additional investments beyond a planned 380 billion RMB over three years to bolster computing infrastructure, boosting sentiment in a broader tech rally.

$Opendoor Technologies Inc(OPEN)$   ranked third in daily options activity with a neutral put/call ratio of 0.52 and an IV rank of 19.42%, indicating moderate volatility expectations as volume surged to 1.49 million contracts against 3.50 million in open interest. Shares exploded 16.08% to close at $8.23—the stock's largest single-day gain in months—fueled by stronger-than-expected U.S. August new home sales data that shattered decline forecasts, alongside a 13G filing from Jane Street Group disclosing a 5.9% stake, amplifying short squeeze potential amid renewed housing sector optimism.

Finally broke even, but will keep. Got HOOD during IPO at 40 and went zip. Sold for tax loss. Now can't see a day it's down. Hope to have some luck with INTC turning into NVDA. Could happen
