Why I Continue to Collect Palantir (PLTR) Using the DCA Method
When it comes to investing, consistency often outperforms perfect timing. That's why I've chosen to keep collecting shares of Palantir Technologies (PLTR) through the Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) method. Instead of trying to predict the perfect entry point, I steadily accumulate shares over time, confident in the company's long-term potential.
Belief in Palantir's Long-Term Growth
Palantir isn't just another tech stock—it's a company positioned at the intersection of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and government/private sector adoption. With governments, enterprises, and industries increasingly relying on data-driven decisions, Palantir's platforms like Foundry and Gotham are gaining relevance. I see PLTR as a long-term player in the AI ecosystem, and owning it now feels like investing in future infrastructure.
Why I Use DCA
The stock market is volatile, and Palantir's price often reflects that volatility. Instead of being shaken by short-term swings, the DCA approach allows me to smooth out my purchase prices over time. By committing a fixed amount on a regular basis, I avoid the stress of "perfect timing" and focus on building a position for the future.
Managing Risk While Building Conviction
While I'm bullish on Palantir, I'm also realistic—no stock is without risk. Competition, valuation concerns, and execution challenges can impact the stock's perfo
rmance. Using DCA helps manage these risks by spreading out entry points. This method reduces the impact of temporary dips while steadily building conviction in my holding.
Looking Ahead
I believe Palantir is still in the early chapters of its growth story. As adoption of AI-driven analytics accelerates, the company could be a key beneficiary. By continuing to collect PLTR through DCA, I'm not chasing quick gains—I'm positioning myself for what I expect will be years of compounding growth.
As a retail investor, I focus mainly on the US and Singapore markets, combining a mix of technical trading and long-term investing strategies. I enjoy analyzing charts, spotting patterns, and making calculated moves based on both market sentiment and fundamentals. While I'm not a professional, I treat my portfolio seriously and continue to learn and grow with each trade. If you're also navigating the markets and enjoy discussing stocks, options, or market trends, feel free to follow me. Let's learn and grow together as a community.
