I’m profoundly bullish on $SHOP as it clears the 0.786 monthly log fib level at $114.67 with Bollinger bands starting to expand; signaling the potential for a new impulsive leg higher. With price sitting near $124 and earnings due 06Aug25, momentum into the print could be explosive.
What’s driving it? Not just platform subs. Merchant solutions now make up 74% of revenue and are expanding fast. From Shopify Payments in 16 new markets to tools like TariffGuide.ai, this is no longer just a storefront provider: it’s becoming the OS for global commerce.
Fundamentally, this growth is showing up in the numbers: MRR has grown 219% since 2020. Gross margin remains strong, and operating margin is rebounding after a pandemic dip, now hovering near 15%. With a $161B market cap and only $350B in annual merchant GMV, the TAM runway is immense.
