Maximizing Annualized Returns with Precision Entries
this idea could significantly boost a trader's annualized % performance if executed with precision, and good level of situational awareness.
tighter entries than current state will lead to higher trade frequency assuming we are using the same stop loss price for both cases, and to get in tight the lowered entry price will happen first for execution. this would translate to much bigger trade volume in a year. by law of large numbers, if there's already a positive expectancy in existing strategy, no doubt this idea is extremely promising to churn much bigger % return on annualized basis.
I have some data to backed annualizing return of exceeding 100% would require a minimal number of trades per year, which is variable to the % risk to equity and win rate % you are on your strategy.
but number can't translate to monthly basis because it is dependent on market condition, since it's not ideal to push trades in a dull market just to meet those criteria. but one need to be very active in hunting opportunities when condition is aligned to swing hard and aggressive.
big winning trades all comes together in a bundle because of market condition, likewise for consecutive losing streaks.
