Tiger Brokers' Q1 2025 results showed record highs, with EPS reaching $0.198 USD. I anticipated continued strong performance in Q2, given the V-shaped recovery in US markets and the robust HK stock market. Based on the Q1 EPS and a conservative 15x PE ratio, a target price of $12 USD was projected.

I purchased 550 shares on the day Q1 results were released, placing 5 times buy orders during pre-market and regular trading hours because the stock price declined at good results. My initial plan was to buy only 100 shares, but I ultimately invested five times my budget, acquiring 550 shares at a cost of $8.53 per share. I subsequently employed covered calls and put selling strategies to generate additional premium and Tiger Coins.

I strategically trimmed my position twice, selling a total of 150 shares above my holding cost. Another 200 shares were sold through covered calls at $8.50 and $9.00 when Lilin acquired a 5.9% stake in Tiger Brokers. This leaves me with 200 shares, closer to my original investment plan.

I suspect price manipulation in Tiger Brokers' stock, observing repeated price drops on Friday option expiration days. Over the past three weeks, I've consistently used options within a controlled range, selling covered calls on Mondays and Tuesdays, and puts on Fridays to generate premium. I only sell covered calls and am comfortable buying 100 more shares at $8.50 or lower through put selling.
