$IONQ 20250627 37.5 PUT$ Ionq price continues to stay elevated, allowing me to earn some pocket money while waiting for the price to move down (It may actually not [Facepalm]  )

I'm revising my buy zone to $20-$30 considering all the recent acquisitions particularly Oxford Ionics. If the deal goes through, IonQ will solidify its status as the ion-trap powerhouse that trumps even Quantinuum imo.

There are a couple. All related to recent acquisitions.

    1. Lightsynq - photonics interconnect for scaling up their system and for realising the quantum network.

    2. Oxford Ionics - partially replacing laser with microwave controls of ions. Laser is apparently harder to scale up.

    3. Capella - satellite business. Probably a piece of the puzzle for quantum key distribution.

In other words, IonQ has many tracks that can help it secure new business/contracts and also complementary technologies to further develop their quantum computers.

FYI, Quantinuum is still a private company part of Honeywell. They’ve been rumoured to go public since 2-3 years ago…
