CoreWeave is shifting most of its new data center builds in 2025 to liquid-cooled infrastructure. This move is driven by the need to support extremely dense GPU configurations like the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72, which packs 72 GPUs into a single rack-scale server. Traditional air cooling just can’t keep up with the thermal demands of such systems.
