Magnificent 7 & Sector Groups in Focus

Below are a list of magnificent 7 & group based setups in my watchlist for post reaction to Core PCE Price Index m/m in this recessionary and tariff-driven environment right now.

Inverse:

$ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ(SQQQ)$ $Direxion Daily S&P 500 Bear 3X Shares(SPXS)$ $Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3X Shares(TZA)$ $Tradr 2X Short Innovation Daily ETF(SARK)$ $Direxion Daily Real Estate Bear 3X Shares(DRV)$ $Direxion Daily S&P Biotech Bear 3x Shares(LABD)$ $DIREXION DAILY AMZN BEAR 1X SHARES(AMZD)$ $DIREXION DAILY MSFT BEAR 1X SHARES(MSFD)$ $Direxion Daily TSLA Bear 1X Shares(TSLS)$ $Direxion Daily AAPL Bear 1X Shares(AAPD)$

Positive:

$Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLRE)$ $Schwab U.S. REIT ETF(SCHH)$ $FlexShares Global Upstream Natural Resources Index Fund(GUNR)$ $iShares Bitcoin Trust(IBIT)$ $Sea Ltd(SE)$ $Grab Holdings(GRAB)$

My view on prospect of market ending the week positively: Any near term totaled gains below +3% from yesterday's close will keep the bear flag intact. The only trend that has been on RS since January remains in precious metals and miners $SPDR Gold Shares(GLD)$ $iShares Silver Trust(SLV)$ $VanEck Gold Miners ETF(GDX)$ $VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF(GDXJ)$ $Global X Silver Miners ETF(SIL)$ $Amplify Junior Silver Miners ETF(SILJ)$. followed by China $KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF(KWEB)$ $iShares China Large-Cap ETF(FXI)$. Their RS remains intact and $SPDR Gold Shares(GLD)$ is now all time high.

I didn’t attempt any 'bottom fishing' during the 1-day spike on 24/3 (Mon). With short-term MA momentum still down, I don’t see a compelling risk-reward when market hasn't even attempted a meaningful consolidation to flatline the short term MA. If you have been hit with cuts from those execution on swing basis, take this as a lesson and ensure it doesn’t repeat in your trading journal during your review. Performance also comes from future-proofing your historical mistakes, as opposed to pushing for activity and the thrill of luck.
