As we have noted in our previous post, there have been alot of misinformation spreading recently to intentionally lower Nvidia’s price before earnings so that they can buy at a discount.
Fake news:
Microsoft canceled datacenter leases
- Real news: The news was from unverified source. Microsoft has just released their latest statement of reaffirming their AI spending this year, but was just making adjustments to their approach. No cut in budget, no drop in chip orders. Speculators are just trying to create a story here.
Trump eyes more Nvidia curbs (Bloomberg)
- Real news: A quick google search would tell you that this was an old news been drummed up again. Most of the news outlets already reported on this last month. And it is just talks with US, Dutch and Japan officials, it has nothing to do with Nvidia but the article seeks to draw its own connections and conclusions. White House officials did not comment on this. This is another attempt to create fake news before earnings.
Real news updates
These are the real news that have been put into actions, not speculative. Unlike the fake news above, officials have confirmed these statements. And we expect more positive updates from this earning call.
