@Binni Ong:Overview of the Chart: The $HSTECH(HSTECH)$ Index has been trending downwards overall but shows clear interaction with support and resistance levels. A prior resistance level (green horizontal line), marked by two peaks in the past, has now become a key support level where the price is hovering and forming a doji candlestick. Why am I noting on the index now? When resistance is broken, it often flips to support, as seen in the chart. This happens because traders who missed the initial breakout see the retest of this level as an opportunity to buy, while sellers from before are now out of the market. A doji candlestick has occurred near to this level. Doji occurs when the open and close prices are nearly the same, forming a small or nonexistent body. This indicates indecision in the market. It reflects a balance between buyers and sellers and often signals a potential reversal or pause in the current trend. Current Observations on HSTech: The doji candlestick at the support level indicates indecision, signaling that the market is trying to determine its next move. A bullish confirmation above the doji's high would suggest a rebound, while a bearish close below the support line could signal further downside. Short-term trading on HSTech: Daily Leverage Certificates (DLCs) are financial instruments that provide leveraged exposure (e.g., 3x, 5x, or more) to the daily performance of an underlying asset, such as an index or stock. If one is bullish, Daily Long provides leveraged gains when the underlying asset's price increases over a single trading day e.g. Daily long HSTech contracts such as $HSTECH 5xLongSG250904(CWRW.SI)$ and $HSTECH 7xLongSG261105(UMCW.SI)$ are denoted with a star means that these contracts are the most sensitive. Sensitivity is the number of index points (for index) or dollar value (for stock) movement that is equivalent to a theoretical 1 tick movement of the DLC, without taking intraday exchange rate changes into account for non-SGD denominated underlying asset product.
