Please briefly introduce yourself, share your personal investment growth experience, and how you made your first bucket of gold in the market?

Hi everyone, I am Dr Leonard Lim, a PhD post doc in the field of genetics. Being an expert with scientific background, my interest in investment never fades since young. I made my first bucket of gold just recently with my record high USD 14,680 in a single day of option trading of $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$ ! It is both exciting and motivating for me inside out! I achieved this through my 6 months of exponential learning from tiger boost camp and my fellow investor friends! Tiger Boost camp taught me this most important lesson: "diversify to minimize risk" and also the daily updates in telegram group on good stocks to watch out!

What is the most successful or impressive investment experience you have had?

The most impressive investment experience was the one mentioned above! USD 14,680 profit all in one day! $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$ was the one rocketing me to the moon! Helped by my persistent research and experimenting with the numbers and most importantly my trust in this company! I think it surged pre-market based on the good news "Rocket Lab USA Inc. sees a boost in share price, bolstered by increasing investor confidence following its latest successful satellite launch. On Friday, Rocket Lab USA Inc.’s stocks have been trading up by 7.08 percent." I entered as soon as the market opened, I bought 106 lots of Call option which is probably almost "All In" of all my funds I allocated for trading. And take profit as soon as it hits my daily profit target but then it surged top rapid that it went way past it and it shocked me inside out and hands trembling, heart beating fast. not a good move to follow but YOLO, occasionally when I am 2000% confident, I would try something wild and new!

What strategies will you usually use in trading options?

Analyze the option value using the option screener, check for highs and lows (max and min), evaluate the company's background, check the volume whether it is huge enough, buy call when you are confident 200% and most importantly buy accordingly to your budget, always save some for-emergency averaging needed, for me, I allocate 50% of my portfolio in Tiger Vault.

How do you select stocks and control risks?

The best strategy is going for the best company! For instance, if you are an iPhone user, buy Apple shares with confidence. I select stocks based on what I love and use in my daily life! I control risks by saving some cash in tiger vault with high dividend bonds, and utilize it to average out the my holding price if there’s a dip in the stock price.

Can you share with us some of your trades and tell us why did you choose to enter this trade?

I traded $Quantum-Si Inc.(QSI)$ and $SEALSQ Corp(LAES)$ when quantum stocks are selling like hot cakes, now it's the era of AI. I entered because I love AI so much and have confidence in AI players like $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ and $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ , I expect these stocks to grow more 2025. And my current top 3 stock holding are: $Alphabet(GOOG)$ , $Apple(AAPL)$ , $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$.

What is your most memorable loss experience, how did you manage to adjust yourself?

The most memorable loss experience was during the time when Tesla dropped almost 8% in one day. I managed to use some of my vault cash to average the loss while waiting for it to rebound! That's why it's important to invest in company you can fully trust and with that trust I have made the loss a profit within the next few weeks

How do you manage emotions and mindset when the market is volatile?

My emotional support and positive mindset come from mainly my family members and not to forget the Tiger community members who share not only their happiness but also their ups and downs in life. Some of the Tiger role models: @Optionspuppy @Barcode did inspire me to go further and persistently move on to become and mold a stronger me inside out!

What do you think the market will perform in 2025? And what's your investment goal this year?

The market will be bullish in 2025, of course with ups and downs, but eventually you will see growth in both you and the company you invested in, inside out! My investment goal for this year is of course to outperform 2024 profits by at least 20%!
