Volatility Rises, Selling Calls can Also Bring Profit：UVXY, UVIX
Among my US stocks watchlists, the Trump concept stocks that rose well on Monday were: $Trump Media & Technology(DJT)$ $Phunware, Inc.(PHUN)$ , $Rumble Inc.(RUM)$ ;
mean while, medical field $UnitedHealth(UNH)$ and $CVS Health(CVS)$
Many Tigers were long $1.5x Long Vulnerability Index Short-Term Futures ETF (UVXY)$, and I also saw some Tigers in Tiger option camp to sold calls on $1.5x Long Vulnerability Index Short-Term Futures ETF (UVXY)$ and made profit.
I was planed to sell $2X Long VIX Futures ETF(UVIX)$ 20250131 3.0 CALL, but the price i set was higher than the buyside. So the trade didn’t fill.
If I succesfully sold the call, i could win 32% by 1 contract with a $39 for each contract.
Which is a $400 principal is invested as margin, but you can get $39, which is close to a 10% return.
