Totally agree with this article. China is ahead in terms of energy grid. US needs to buck the hell up and start expanding its energy grid. This is crucial for the AI race.

Perma-bear on US stocks who’s been wrong so many times it’s hard to count. Not someone anyone should follow for a lifetime. Great with his doom and gloom macro spiels and warnings but fundamentally bad investor who has underperformed the market consistently only beating it periodically and occasionally.

He's doing a fantastic job and keeping to his promises. It's people like the writer of this article that hate him who cannot stand to see him successful. Just a matter of time.

Er the US market has moved beyond deepseek which isn't really much of a threat to anything. The concern now is tarrifs and slowing economic growth. Thats why the market is moving down. Deepseek used 50,000 NVDA chips so that benefits the US. LLMs are a commodity and the focus should be on how global companies integrate AI into their business models. In other words, US companies stand the gain the most.

How DeepSeek Erased Silicon Valley's AI Lead and Wiped $1 Trillion from U.S. Markets

The U.S. innovates, China iterates. That aphorism—or its less flattering version, “China imitates”—dominates many conversations about the relative strengths of the world’s largest and second-largest economies. The U.S., the narrative goes, sits on the technological frontier, creating groundbreaking products and services that chart the course of the world economy. China takes those ideas and builds on them, spitting out cheaper—and perhaps inferior—versions. In AI, that cliché seemed for years to be based in fact, as Chinese companies struggled to keep up with free-spending, talent-rich U.S. tech giants. But this January, a Chinese startup undercut that narrative. But DeepSeek is just one player in a vibrant Chinese AI sector to which many U.S. CEOs have been oblivious. Big Tech companies like Alibaba and ByteDance are releasing AI models that have beaten Western products on reasoning benchmarks. And a new wave of smaller “AI dragons” are putting China’s cheap and efficient AI to work in

What a silly hyped up article. Musk's partnership with Trump has sent Tesla stock flying up by 300% since last year. Insiders are all getting richer. Who are you trying to fool man.

Dude DeepSeek was built on OpenAI. Of course it would need less training. Also, it would need roughly 50,000 NVIDIA H100 chips which is pretty basic in order to build the model. Lastly, widespread adoption of AI is the eventual goal for Nvidia's monopoly and to do so AI needs to be more cost-effective (not just the big Tech players playing the game). So yeah, very bullish for Nvidia long term.

Dude. What are you talking about man. NVDA and DeepSeek are not competitors and produce different products and services. DeepSeek threatens the LLMs produced by other hyper scalers like Google Gemini, OpenAi, Llama, etc. If anything you admitted that it actually runs on NVDA chips, and so it needs NVDA. DeepSeek actually strengthen's NVDA's dominance.

Musk's actions to date, show he does not care about money. He stated in several interviews when questioned several times why he would not censor content on twitter that he would rather lose advertising revenue and piss off powerful people in corporate America that give up fighting for the ideals of freedom of speech. Billionaires who have the billions like him are no longer motivated by money. They are motivated by idealistic passions and pursuits like being an interplanetary species. Musk has only ever been authentic, albeit akwardly authentic. People can see that. So this article is indeed bluster.
