$Rum Group Inc(RUM)$ The Department of War announced it is looking at cloud vendors outside of $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ and MSFT. I wonder who might get a slice of that pie.
$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Stifel upgraded Microsoft to Buy from Hold, with a price target of $575, up from $530. The firm says it is increasingly comfortable with the company's ability to sustain mid/upper teens revenue growth, as open-weight model advancement has boosted management's LLM agnostic strategy. Stifel also points out that Microsoft's operating expense efficiencies are supportive of stable operating margins, while its strong cash flows should limit the need for outside financing. On the gross-margin concerns from earlier this year, Stifel notes it is now increasingly evident that Azure operational efficiency efforts, elimination of payments to OpenAI after the April contract revision, disciplined capex spen
$Alphabet(GOOGL)$ This reminds me of how Microsoft moved before it took off. It would climb in premarket, then give it back at the open. That was a daily pattern for 3 months, and then it blew up. MSFT and GOOGL are major buys. Add NVDA to that as well.
$Alphabet(GOOGL)$ The AI selloff fear over the weekend turned out to be noise. GOOGL and AMZN announced billion-dollar AI deals after hours. AI stocks are ripping. CBRS is hitting 192 from the 181 adds, NBIS is hitting 224 from the 206 adds, and CRDO is hitting 166.29 from the 150/152 adds.
$Vertical Data Inc.(VDTA)$ Major AI infrastructure development paired with an extremely thin trading stock is quite a combination. The contemplated contract value is $192.1M, involving 1,024 Blackwell Ultra GPUs. If this starts getting picked up by the broader AI community, it could get interesting quickly.
$Alphabet(GOOGL)$ I've been gradually building a core position in GOOGL. My accumulated average price is $351.72. I sell covered calls with 7 DTE and roll them each week. I also keep 360/370 call credit spreads active every week.
$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ $Microsoft(MSFT)$ Microsoft is planning to expand data center capacity from 12GW to over 38GW by 2032. About one-third of that is expected to be AI-specific. The CapEx wave isn't slowing down. How sustainable is this level of infrastructure buildout?
$Carnegie Clean Energy Ltd.(CWGYF)$ Carnegie's CETO tech will be tested in Oregon. Big news for the global marine energy sector with the official opening of the PacWave South test facility off the coast of Oregon, USA. PacWave South is a large step forward for open-ocean testing in North America. As a pre-permitted, grid-connected site, it establishes a clear pathway for utility-scale testing and commercial validation of wave energy technologies in the United States. PacWave joins a select group of world-class facilities, including BiMEP in Spain, purpose-built to test ocean energy technologies like CETO.
$UiPath(PATH)$ There's clearly a lot of effort across the space around personal and private data. $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ moving on Hugging Face says a lot about where things are heading. $Microsoft(MSFT)$ still finds ways to grow even at its size.
SMCI had 4 material weaknesses. They've remediated 3 of them this year. The only one left is ITGC, which is basically user access and change controls around certain systems tied to financial reporting. SMCI says the new controls still need to operate long enough and pass effectiveness testing in FY27 before they can officially call it remediated. That's not the same as saying "their systems are insecure" or "the financials are wrong." BDO still gave the actual financial statements an unqualified audit opinion. And for perspective, even $Microsoft(MSFT)$ has been breached by sophisticated state-backed hackers and had internal systems and source-code repositories accessed. No control framework makes a company immune from cyberattacks. To me th
The US 10-year yield is pushing above 4.75 and looks set to test the high from September 2023. Markets started selling off back then and didn't bottom until October. I'm watching closely and keeping stops in place. The setups on $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ $Microsoft(MSFT)$ have been spoiled for now, but I'm still leaning toward quality names including $SpaceX(SPCX)$ SPY.
