$Apple(AAPL)$ One of my sleepers for the AI trade is this: a cluster of two Mac Studios with 512GB of unified memory comes in around $35K, and you can run frontier-level open source models from home on under 600 watts. A comparable $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ setup runs roughly $200K and pulls around 10,000 watts. This feels like it could be an iPhone moment. Local AI in a lot of tech-focused homes, and I wouldn't be surprised if plenty of enterprises start exploring similar configurations.
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ Just made a massive strategic move for the next phase of AI. AMD is spending $8.2B to acquire World Labs, bringing Fei-Fei Li onboard as Chief Scientist reporting directly to Lisa Su. This isn't just an acquisition. AMD is getting cutting-edge spatial intelligence and world models, a major push into physical AI and robotics, elite AI research talent, more workloads running on Instinct GPUs, and another catalyst for the ROCm ecosystem. World Labs is building AI that can understand, generate and simulate 3D environments and real-world physics. That puts AMD directly in the fight for the next big AI market beyond chatbots: robotics, autonomous systems, simulation and physical AI. The h
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ Bought calls on Friday expiring Monday, positioning for AMD to move above 650. Not investment advice, just my read of the options flow.
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ continues to show an incomplete bullish sequence within wave ((5)), keeping the upside bias intact. As long as 419 holds, pullbacks could offer buying opportunities before the next leg higher.
338.98We are not at $4.95 trillion yet, and I would not want that kind of read at my bank. Summer is winding down and fall is here. For most people, it has felt like fall since midnight. We are heading to $5 trillion soon. Shorts better get ready to move aside because the bulls are taking over.
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ For AMD to reach a $1 trillion market capitalization, its stock price would need to get to roughly $612.57 per share. Once that milestone is hit, $1,000 per share could be on the table by 4Q.
$Apple(AAPL)$ I don't think the price action was really about the new product reveals. Macro conditions were rough for AI and semis, and tech overall. Meanwhile, Apple is still a revenue and cash flow monster with relatively little CapEx.
$Apple(AAPL)$ Honestly, I do like the stock, though I'm still with Samsung. Once that foldable iPhone comes out, I'll make the switch and go with the, the, the uh... miniature geese?
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ I bought the dip when it hit the bottom band, but I'm not selling here. Eventually it should break out, and if it pulls back around obvious resistance I'll just add again.
$Apple(AAPL)$ HSBC is staying with a Buy on Apple into the iPhone launch event. Analyst Nicolas Cote-Colisson keeps a Buy rating and a $366 price target. The firm expects an iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, the iPhone Ultra, and a new Apple Watch. The iPhone Ultra would be Apple's first book-style foldable, a segment Samsung currently leads. HSBC also expects iPhone prices to go up by at least $100 because of the extra memory costs, and points out that Apple's brand commands high pricing power.
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ US data center construction spending jumped 57% year over year in July, reaching a record annualized rate of $75 billion. That follows a 46% YoY increase in June and marks the largest YoY gain since mid-2025. Since the start of 2021, US data center construction spending has kept climbing. And yet there are still people out there trying to short AMD.
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ In the second quarter, Druckenmiller opened a position in Nvidia rival Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD), buying 72,900 shares for a 0.8% portfolio weight. It's clearly not his biggest bet, but it does show some interest in getting exposure to a chip specialist during this phase of the AI story.
$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ Dell just gave the AI infrastructure space another major signal of validation. Q2 EPS printed at $7.04 versus $4.91 expected, revenue about $47B against $44.9B expected, and the stock moved up roughly 8%. The beat is clearly being driven by AI demand. Barron's even pointed out that Dell's server business is booming on AI infrastructure demand, that SMCI already posted better-than-expected Q4 earnings with a positive full-year outlook, and that Cisco also put up solid numbers tied to AI hardware. This is starting to look like more than a one-company story. It is shaping up as a full AI hardware capex supercycle. If Dell gets rewarded for explosive AI server demand, the market has a weaker case to keep ignoring
