Ray Dalio is indeed a wise person. Much like Philip Kotler, they have both foresaw the deep breakdown of major systems in the world with major implications. Of course, will the change in political, economic, environmental and technological systems result in positive change quickly or how long will it last? Nobody knows. Hence in a major market collapse, going in boldly is wise, but NOT all in. You will still need resources to weather the storms ahead. PE is just a single indicator that looks at how price is versus earnings. We need to look deeper into why the earnings is such and what is driving the price story. I look at a whole lot of other indicators of which it depends on the type of company and the circumstances.
Forest definitely has the resources to lead a team. His character is also one that refuses to lose and is willing to take the hard knocks in order to win. Hopefully he can turn this situation around for Singapore football, like what he did to Sea.
Dear Mr Market, I would like to note that your bipolar disorder has gotten worse lately. Your swings from pessimism to optimism to pessimism used to be on a monthly basis. Now it’s on a weekly to daily basis. Nonetheless, I will continue to stand by you, cos on the long run, your meds will work and you’ll be positively optimistic. Whenever you’re very down, just let me know and I’ll give that little lift you need with my investments. @daz88888888 @LMSunshine @melson @Bonta @GoodLife99
When all fear and panic strikes, I’ll Celebrate the RED, as a value investor, Cheap can get CHEAPER, and when others are Fearful, I become Greedy. Are you a value investor too? MTL - Mai Tu Liao!
[Survival with just $10?!] Would this be possible in Singapore? Absolutely so. With intermittent fasting, all I need is just 2 meals a day. Aside my office provides a free flow of coffee, sugar, fruits and snacks. Without office support, a $4 Cai png and a $4.50 noodles will still give me $1.50 extra to save and compound. Of course I could use that to get some bread or desert too! What do you think? @CaptainTiger@MillionaireTiger@TigerStars@daz88888888@LMSunshine
1. Marie Curie 2. Lisa Su 3. Cathie Woods 4. Kamala Harris 5. Margaret Thatcher My mum has been an awesome inspiration. At her 80s she is learning, exercising, cooking, contributing to community and actively growing. All this despite her occasional health challenges and slower mobility. Which women has inspired you? @daz88888888 @LMSunshine @melson @Bonta @GoodLife99 @SirBahamut
News and movement is always worth to note. More importantly is your investing or trading plan. Do you stick by it or succumb to your emotions? For me, I’ll continue to DCA when the market drops and store dry powder to fire when the opportunity presents itself. No button to vote for NVIDIA unfortunately.
I won’t invest in SaaS ETF as I have other broad exposures already. NVIDIA is definitely a better buy for me and the lower it goes, the better it will be. However do note that it’s richly valued now because of the growth potential. It might chance in a few months to years time. All the best tigers!
DBS is the best so far based on ROE. OCBC however, with a dividend yield of 5% looks a little attractive but with risks of a further drop in price and average performance. While all 3 banks are good dividend yield plays, do note that is it because of the high interest rate environment spurred by the Fed. If interest rates cut, then the NIM will drop and so will earnings. As for AI, it will become a great partner for most jobs and it will take over some jobs. However, some roles will be irreplaceable. E.g. can you imagine an AI MP, PM or President? Let me know what you think. @daz88888888 @LMSunshine @melson
