If fundamentals are strong, direction is clear, then why not? Globally many developed countries including Singapore are pushing for long term adoption of EVs so I'd say buy to hold should be good.

In its fiscal 2023 second quarter (which ended Dec. 31), Microsoft's more personal computing segment -- which has historically accounted for nearly a third of its revenue -- was down 19% year over year to $14.2 billion, marking the second consecutive quarter of year-over-year declines.

The good news is that the PC market may be near a bottom. Morgan Stanley analyst Erik Woodring cut his 2023 PC estimates again but believes the worst has passed, with the market hitting its trough as soon as the current quarter.

What could drive Microsoft stock higher?

In addition to a rebound in the PC market, Microsoft has other drivers that could fuel a stock rally.

Chief among those is its cloud infrastructure service, Azure. Microsoft experienced strong market-share gains in the worldwide cloud infrastructure market in 2022, reaching 23%, up from 21% in the preceding four quarters, according to data compiled by Synergy Research Group. In fact, over the past five years, Microsoft has notched the largest share gains in the industry, growing by nearly 11 percentage points since 2017. Given the consistency of the company's market-share increases in recent years, there's every reason to believe that trend will continue.

There's also the matter of ChatGPT and the growing utility of artificial intelligence (AI). Microsoft has invested at least $10 billion in ChatGPT-creator OpenAI and is already working to integrate ChatGPT's capabilities into its Bing search engine. The intent is clear -- to wrest some search-market share from Alphabet's Google, which controls more than 90% of the market -- so even small market-share gains could be big business. Microsoft estimates that every 1% share of the market it gains represents a $2 billion revenue opportunity.

While it's too early to know how successful those efforts will be, the excitement surrounding ChatGPT is palpable. This suggests that fervor could be instrumental in attracting additional search users to Bing.

How to approach Microsoft stock now

Microsoft is currently selling at 31 times trailing earnings and 10 times trailing sales. While value investors might balk at the company's valuation, I'd argue that's a pretty reasonable price to pay for a company that's expected to grow both its revenue and earnings per share by double digits by 2024.

As I've outlined above, Microsoft has a number of catalysts that could drive its stock significantly higher over the coming months and years. These headwinds hit expensive growth stocks particularly hard, but many top stocks are starting to impress Wall Street again with strong business fundamentals.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Roblox have returned 38% and 50%, respectively, since the beginning of the year. These companies are tapping into long-term megatrends of artificial intelligence (AI) and the metaverse, so it's not surprising to see investors coming around to these promising growth stories.

Let's take a deeper look at what's driving these two breakout growth stocks higher and why it's not too late to buy them today.

1. Advanced Micro Devices

Companies across just about every industry are investing in cloud services and AI to more cost-effectively run their business, speed up product development, and power personalized recommendations. All these require one thing: high-performance processors to process large data workloads.

Advanced Micro Devices has been gaining market share against Intel in recent years to meet the growing demand for hardware acceleration. AMD also expanded its data center capabilities with the acquisition of Pensando Systems, which rounds out the company's chip portfolio with data processing units (DPUs) and other data center solutions.

While AMD is also a key supplier of processors for consumer desktops, notebooks, and gaming consoles, data center and embedded chips made up over half of its fourth-quarter revenue and will be a key growth driver over the long term. Strong demand from enterprise helped AMD finish the year with adjusted (pro forma) revenue up 20% over 2021.

However, enterprises started to slow their data center spending in the second half of 2022, and Wall Street is worried this could dictate a slower cadence of spending in 2023, impacting AMD's data center business.

Indeed, management expects a softer start to 2023, but the stock is still moving higher for a few reasons. The lower forward price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 31 offers a better entry point for investors than a year ago. Also, AMD's addressable market opportunity has now expanded to an estimated $300 billion through 2025 following the acquisitions last year.

AMD has a promising future and should deliver more returns for investors from here.

2. Roblox

Roblox stock has been a roller-coaster over the last few years. The company reported soaring revenue during 2020 when kids were at home spending more time playing games, but this turned into a major headwind once they went back to school.

The reopening of the economy in 2021 and the macroeconomic headwinds in 2022 have made it difficult for Roblox to maintain robust growth rates. Roblox ended 2022 with 58.8 million daily active users, up from 49.5 million in 2021 and 37.1 million in 2020.

Revenue has trailed the growth in users over the last few years, but the Q4 earnings report showed a sharp increase in bookings (a non-GAAP measure of revenue). This indicates user monetization is starting to catch up to the recent growth in new players.

Roblox stock looks expensive relative to other video game and social media stocks, currently trading at a price-to-sales (P/S) multiple of 11.6. The firm also points out that there were an estimated 23.7 million paying users for cloud gaming in 2021.

A few calculations indicate that Nvidia is the biggest player in this nascent, but promising market. The company pointed out at its investor day event last month that its GeForce Now cloud gaming service had 15 million users. So Nvidia controls around 60% of the cloud gaming market, going by Newzoo's estimate of the total number of subscribers that this space had in 2021.

It also seems that Nvidia controls a big chunk of cloud gaming revenue. The company generated $11.4 billion through sales of gaming graphics cards in fiscal 2022 (ended on Jan. 30). For comparison, Nvidia's overall gaming revenue in fiscal 2021 came in at $12.46 billion, indicating that cloud gaming produced just over $1 billion in revenue for the company. Based on Newzoo's estimate of the cloud gaming market's 2021 revenue, calculations indicate that Nvidia has cornered just over 60% revenue share of this budding market.

Now, $1 billion in cloud gaming revenue means that this segment accounted for around 3.7% of Nvidia's top line of $26.9 billion in fiscal 2022. That may look like a small number right now, but it won't be surprising to see the GeForce Now business boom big time in the long run. That's because the cloud gaming market could hit $14 billion in revenue by 2027, clocking a compound annual growth rate of 64% for the next five years.

If Nvidia manages to hold on to its share of this potentially lucrative market, GeForce Now could become an $8 billion-plus business for Nvidia in five years. That's a big number considering the overall revenue generated by Nvidia's gaming business in fiscal 2022. What's more, the size of the cloud gaming market could hit $22 billion by 2030 as per a third-party estimate, indicating that this space could turn out to be a long-term money spinner for Nvidia given its already-dominant position.

Nvidia is pulling the right strings to capitalize on this opportunity

There are a few simple reasons why Nvidia is dominating the cloud gaming market right now.

First, the company has brought high-end gaming to players at an enticing price through its GeForce Now RTX 3080 plan.

With the plan priced at $19.99 per month or $99.99 for six months, gamers are paying a fraction of what they would be spending on building a premium gaming PC powered by the RTX 3080 graphics card that starts at a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $699, though that may not be the case in the real world where graphics card prices are much higher on account of tight supplies.

Second, GeForce Now boasts of a library of more than 1,200 games that is available in 80 countries. This, along with the attractive pricing, puts the company in a solid position to tap into a vast addressable market that consists of a billion underpowered PCs and Chromebooks, an identical number of iOS and Mac devices, and 4 billion Android users.

And finally, Nvidia has partnered with key companies to push its cloud gaming business. Samsung and LG, for instance, are offering GeForce Now on their televisions, while AT&T has also struck a partnership with Nvidia to offer the service to its subscribers.

Such moves could ensure the healthy growth of Nvidia's cloud gaming business in the long run and help the company remain a top video gaming stock for a long time to come.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
This Emerging Opportunity Could Send Nvidia Stock Soaring
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nThis Emerging Opportunity Could Send Nvidia Stock Soaring\n
\n
\n\n\n2022-04-25 17:27 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
KEY POINTSNvidia has cornered a major share of the cloud gaming market's revenue. The cloud gaming market's high pace of growth in the coming years could supercharge Nvidia's gaming business.Nvidia has...
\nWeb Link\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"NVDA":"英伟达"},"source_url":"https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/04/24/emerging-opportunity-send-nvidia-stock-soaring/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1146620721","content_text":"KEY POINTSNvidia has cornered a major share of the cloud gaming market's revenue. The cloud gaming market's high pace of growth in the coming years could supercharge Nvidia's gaming business.Nvidia has made smart moves to ensure that it remains a top cloud gaming play.Nvidia stock may be down in the dumps in 2022 as Wall Street seems to be worried about the health of the company's video gaming business, but a closer look indicates that the problems are likely to be short-term in nature.Nvidia's video gaming business could take off big time in the long run as more gamers upgrade to its new graphics cards that are used in personal computers (PCs). What's more, the size of the cloud gaming market could hit $22 billion by 2030 as per a third-party estimate, indicating that this space could turn out to be a long-term money spinner for Nvidia given its already-dominant position.Nvidia is pulling the right strings to capitalize on this opportunityThere are a few simple reasons why Nvidia is dominating the cloud gaming market right now.First, the company has brought high-end gaming to players at an enticing price through its GeForce Now RTX 3080 plan. With the plan priced at $19.99 per month or $99.99 for six months, gamers are paying a fraction of what they would be spending on building a premium gaming PC powered by the RTX 3080 graphics card that starts at a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $699, though that may not be the case in the real world where graphics card prices are much higher on account of tight supplies.Second, GeForce Now boasts of a library of more than 1,200 games that is available in 80 countries. Samsung and LG, for instance, are offering GeForce Now on their televisions, while AT&T has also struck a partnership with Nvidia to offer the service to its subscribers.Such moves could ensure the healthy growth of Nvidia's cloud gaming business in the long run and help the company remain a top video gaming stock for a long time to come.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":358,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9082858266,"gmtCreate":1650552205899,"gmtModify":1676534750453,"author":{"id":"4108593585170500","authorId":"4108593585170500","name":"Urahara","avatar":"https://static.itradeup.com/news/bfe9a79ad1d702a7241903bc385e0e86","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4108593585170500","authorIdStr":"4108593585170500"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"To the moon? Early Tesla investors are surely enjoying the stock's dramatic rise. But if you are among the ones who missed investing earlier, you must be wondering if it is already too late to invest in the electric vehicle (EV) pioneer.

Let's discuss if it still makes sense to buy the stock.

Tesla continues to grow

Founded in 2003, Tesla made its first annual profit, $721 million, in 2020. In 2021, the company's profit surged 665% to $5.5 billion. At the same time, its revenue grew 71% for the year. The strong growth was supported by an 87% increase in vehicle deliveries in 2021.

A Tesla Model Y. Image source: Tesla.

Most investors and analysts agree that Tesla is very likely to continue growing its vehicle deliveries. To that end, the company is opening new factories; it started deliveries from its German factory on Tuesday and is expected to open its Texas factory soon. In short, Tesla is well on its way to becoming one of the largest automakers in the world.

And the company has managed to distinguish itself from traditional automakers by generating high margins.

TSLA profit margin (quarterly). Data by YCharts.

Ford's high margin in the chart above is attributable to a gain relating to its Rivian investment. It reported an adjusted EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) margin of 5.4% for the fourth quarter. So Tesla's profit margin in the latest quarter well exceeded that of traditional automakers.

Those high margins can be attributed to several factors. The first one is high-margin services, including full self-driving (FSD) features and over-the-air software updates, which command higher profits than traditional vehicle sales. Other factors include high vertical integration, an absence of a dealer network, and low marketing expenses.

Innovation is Tesla's key differentiator

Despite the high growth, at a $1 trillion market capitalization, value-focused investors are understandably wary of Tesla. But the stock has defied traditional valuation metrics so far. The big question is: Can it continue to do so?

While no one can answer that question conclusively, I'm inclined toward a yes. Apart from high margins and scale, some other factors could support Tesla's valuation in the future. The top one is the automaker's FSD feature.

Tesla already has nearly 60,000 vehicles in its FSD beta program. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has awarded the vision-only FSD version in certain Tesla models a score of \"superior\" in collision avoidance and has given it a Top Safety Pick+, the highest possible rating.

The company could have significant potential to expand its margins if its FSD feature shapes up as the company is hoping. Though there are other companies working on autonomous driving -- such as Alphabet with its Waymo and General Motors with its Cruise -- Tesla could have an edge. With the large number of vehicles in use, it could have vastly more data to train its program than its competitors have. And FSD features developed in-house will again tap into the benefits of vertical integration. It could even offer the feature for a fee to other automakers. But this is just speculation and may not turn out as expected.

Though it could be difficult to imagine what Tesla will do next, its growth hinges on innovation. And the company seems to have no dearth of it so far.

Should you buy Tesla stock now?

Tesla's higher margins give some credibility to the reasoning that it should be valued as a technology stock.

TSLA market cap. Data by YCharts.

Tesla's high earnings growth makes its forward price/earnings-to-growth (PEG) ratio attractive, despite its high price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio.

TSLA PE ratio (forward 1 year). Data by YCharts.

A PEG ratio compares a stock's P/E to the expected growth in its earnings. All other things being equal, the stock of a company growing its earnings at a higher rate is expected to trade at a higher P/E ratio.

Tesla generated $5.5 billion in net income in 2021, selling nearly 1 million EVs. As the company's sales rise, its profits should increase proportionally, if the company maintains its margins. Early Tesla investors are surely enjoying the stock's dramatic rise. But if you are among the ones who missed investing earlier, you must be wondering if it is already too late to invest in the electric vehicle (EV) pioneer.Let's discuss if it still makes sense to buy the stock.Tesla continues to growFounded in 2003, Tesla made its first annual profit, $721 million, in 2020. In 2021, the company's profit surged 665% to $5.5 billion. At the same time, its revenue grew 71% for the year. The strong growth was supported by an 87% increase in vehicle deliveries in 2021.A Tesla Model Y. And the company has managed to distinguish itself from traditional automakers by generating high margins.TSLA profit margin (quarterly). Data by YCharts.Ford's high margin in the chart above is attributable to a gain relating to its Rivian investment. Other factors include high vertical integration, an absence of a dealer network, and low marketing expenses.Innovation is Tesla's key differentiatorDespite the high growth, at a $1 trillion market capitalization, value-focused investors are understandably wary of Tesla. But the stock has defied traditional valuation metrics so far. The big question is: Can it continue to do so?While no one can answer that question conclusively, I'm inclined toward a yes. Apart from high margins and scale, some other factors could support Tesla's valuation in the future. The top one is the automaker's FSD feature.Tesla already has nearly 60,000 vehicles in its FSD beta program. But this is just speculation and may not turn out as expected.Though it could be difficult to imagine what Tesla will do next, its growth hinges on innovation. And the company seems to have no dearth of it so far.Should you buy Tesla stock now?Tesla's higher margins give some credibility to the reasoning that it should be valued as a technology stock.TSLA market cap. Data by YCharts.Tesla's high earnings growth makes its forward price/earnings-to-growth (PEG) ratio attractive, despite its high price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio.TSLA PE ratio (forward 1 year). Data by YCharts.A PEG ratio compares a stock's P/E to the expected growth in its earnings. All other things being equal, the stock of a company growing its earnings at a higher rate is expected to trade at a higher P/E ratio.Tesla generated $5.5 billion in net income in 2021, selling nearly 1 million EVs. As the company's sales rise, its profits should increase proportionally, if the company maintains its margins. When that happens, Tesla stock's current valuation will start to make sense in retrospect. That's because the stock price will have likely risen more, making valuation incomprehensible again at that point in future! In short, while Tesla stock might not generate the 10-bagger returns it did in the past two years, it looks well positioned to generate market-beating returns in the years to come. So it's likely not too late to add this top stock to your portfolio.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":554,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9010752825,"gmtCreate":1648476861134,"gmtModify":1676534342749,"author":{"id":"4108593585170500","authorId":"4108593585170500","name":"Urahara","avatar":"https://static.itradeup.com/news/bfe9a79ad1d702a7241903bc385e0e86","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4108593585170500","authorIdStr":"4108593585170500"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Worth HODLing?

And the company has managed to distinguish itself from traditional automakers by generating high margins.TSLA profit margin (quarterly). Data by YCharts.Ford's high margin in the chart above is attributable to a gain relating to its Rivian investment. So it's likely not too late to add this top stock to your portfolio.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":554,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9087440706,"gmtCreate":1651043160243,"gmtModify":1676534839932,"author":{"id":"4108593585170500","authorId":"4108593585170500","name":"Urahara","avatar":"https://static.itradeup.com/news/bfe9a79ad1d702a7241903bc385e0e86","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4108593585170500","authorIdStr":"4108593585170500"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Amazing! Because they have a longer investment time horizon, they can afford to take chances on great stocks offering a high potential for long-term returns than older investors who are looking to buy stocks that are safer but invariably offer lower potential returns.

Fortunately, many promising tech stocks hold the potential to increase their value by tenfold over time. Investors hoping to turn $100,000 into $1 million over the next 10 years could see such potential returns in Block, DigitalOcean, and Roku.

1. Block

Block has placed itself at the center of fintech in many developed countries. Its business-oriented Square ecosystem and its Cash App continue to grow by expanding into new markets and broadening its scope of business within existing countries.

Block just entered its eighth country early this year by bringing its ecosystem into Spain. Now, due to its presence in three EU countries, the company once known as Square has an easier path to serving the rest of the Eurozone.

Moreover, it added cryptocurrency capabilities with its Bitcoin trading platform in both Square and Cash App. This likely helped it almost catch up to PayPal Holdings' Venmo in terms of popularity. Also, according to Research and Markets, the addressable market for fintech is expected to reach $31.5 trillion by 2026, a 27% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) that should bring opportunities for lots of companies in this sector, including Square.

Block increased its 2021 revenue by 86% compared with 2020, 57% if excluding Bitcoin. This led to adjusted earnings of $898 million in the same period, 111% higher than year-ago levels. Analysts only expect 7% revenue growth in 2022 before it rebounds to 22% the next year.

Still, the stock has lost more than half of its value since its peak last summer. With a price-to-sales (P/S) ratio of about 4, it has fallen from the double-digit sales multiples of early last year. This makes it more reasonably priced as Block seeks to meet the financial needs of more businesses and individuals.

2. DigitalOcean

At first glance, companies such as Amazon and Microsoft dominate the cloud industry and cater their services to lots of big names. However, their product offerings are not really catered to the specific needs of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). DigitalOcean has built a high-growth enterprise by filling that gap. But while it offers simple, affordable pricing plans tailored to the needs of SMEs, its most vital advantage seems to lie in its community. Members of this community give and receive advice, helping these businesses resolve IT challenges that might otherwise hamper smaller enterprises.

Also, DigitalOcean already claims about 600,000 customers in 185 countries. and the cloud market should also leave plenty of room for company growth. Grand View Research estimates the cloud infrastructure market will grow to $1.55 trillion by 2030, up from $484 billion today.

DigitalOcean's 2021 revenue of $429 million makes up only a tiny fraction of that addressable market, though that was a 35% increase compared with 2020. Moreover, it cut its yearly loss to about $20 million, down from $44 million in 2020. Furthermore, revenue estimates for between $564 million and $568 million amount to 32% growth if the estimate holds, pointing to little if any slowdowns.

Additionally, the stock has dropped 55% from its November high, taking its P/S ratio down to around 13. While this is higher than its larger competitors, a lower stock price and rapid revenue growth rate should take this stock much higher as the need for the cloud within SMEs continues to expand.

3. Roku

Roku has managed to capitalize on the transition of televised media to streaming. Through its aggregation of services and the offering of its Roku platform and channel, it provides an avenue by which companies can fund programming through advertising.

Furthermore, Roku continues its expansion into Europe and Latin America, giving it leverage as companies like Alphabet attempt to compete. Additionally, the company has integrated its operating system into new televisions and offered its equipment at a low cost, easing the adoption of its platform.

Roku claimed about 60 million users as of the end of 2021. Also, Research and Markets forecasts that the global digital advertising market will grow to $764 billion by 2025 and to $1.45 trillion by 2030 for a CAGR of 13.7%. Roku appears well-positioned to capture much of this increase as it currently only operates in roughly 20 countries and has plans for further expansion.

So far, Roku has barely begun to scratch the surface of its potential. In 2021, it generated almost $2.8 billion in revenue, 55% more than in 2020. The revenue growth helped the company earn $242 million in net income, an improvement from the $18 million loss in 2020.

Admittedly, the first-quarter outlook for 25% year-over-year revenue growth represents a slowdown. Still, the stock has fallen by about 75% from its high last July. Also, the P/S ratio now stands at six, down from 33 last February. Since the beginning of 2023, Nvidia's stock has been up over 80%. However, that comes on the heels of a 50% drop in 2022.

With how much Nvidia's stock has risen in 2023, many investors may question if they've missed the move on Nvidia's stock or if there is more room to go, as the stock is still down 18% from its high. So let's look and determine if Nvidia has reached its ceiling.

Nvidia still has one primary product

Nvidia depends on one thing: graphic processing units (GPUs). The bottom line is, even companies that grow to be massive, like Amazon, usually start much smaller.

While history doesn't really repeat, it often rhymes. There are probably quite a few potential \"Amazons\" out there, trading at really low prices. Below are three companies that I'm currently excited about, and here's the kicker: You can have them for less than $20 per share, which is affordable for most people.

So when you grab a $20 bill to pay for a dinner on the go this week, think about putting that money into one of these three potential winners.

1. SoFi Technologies

Banking is a massive and old industry that goes back centuries. However, there's been a lot of innovation within the financial sector in recent years. Reimagining consumer banking is part of that, which is where SoFi Technologies ( SOFI 1.07% ) comes in. SoFi started as a company refinancing student loans, but it's become much more than that.

The company's \"super-app\" offers its users various financial services, like money transfers, investing, borrowing, banking, and savings, all in one smartphone app. This creates convenience for users and lowers customer acquisition costs for SoFi because it costs nothing for a user to go from using one service on its app to multiple services. SoFi also acquired Galileo in 2020 for $1.2 billion, a technology platform that helps create digital payment cards and banking products.

SoFi recently received regulatory approval to become a national bank, which will let the company finance its loans with user deposits, lowering its own cost of capital and increasing its profitability. The company produced $1.0 billion in revenue in 2021, and as its vision for becoming a conglomerate of fintech services becomes a reality, SoFi could continue growing for years to come.

2. Palantir Technologies

A mathematician in the United Kingdom once said that \"data is the new oil. Like oil, data is valuable, but if unrefined, it cannot be used.\" Data analytics company Palantir Technologies ( PLTR 1.59% ) addresses this very problem. Its two software platforms, Foundry and Gotham, build custom solutions for its clients to analyze data to help make actionable decisions, discover trends, and aid human analysts. The company itself believes in \"augmenting human intelligence, not replacing it.\"

Palantir started in the early 2000s, first gaining traction with the United States government. A variety of agencies in the government use Palantir, including Homeland Security, Defense, and more. Palantir has expanded into the private sector to work with companies, but the government remains Palantir's largest customer, contributing 58% of revenue in 2021.

Even though revenue from commercial accounts grew just 31% in 2021 compared to government revenue's 47% increase, the number of Palantir's commercial clients tripled during the year. This could lead to solid revenue growth down the road because the company has a multi-phase selling process that generates revenue once its software becomes mission-critical for its customers.

3. Amplitude

Amplitude ( AMPL -1.66% ) is the self-proclaimed pioneer of \"digital optimization,\" in which data proactively drives how companies make decisions instead of reacting to what's already happened. Amplitude has gotten traction with its business with approximately 1,597 paying members as of the end of 2021, a 54% year-over-year increase.

Amplitude works with some high-profile customers, including Anheuser-Busch InBev, Atlassian, and Ford. It's also scored recent customer wins, including Toyota, Twilio, and Taco Bell in the fourth quarter alone. Founder and CEO Spenser Skates is in his early 30s, so it can be hard to immediately trust a young company with an unproven CEO bringing a new type of software to market. These notable customer wins could help show some credibility to investors.

The company's net revenue retention rate (NRR) is 123%, implying that customers tend to spend more money on the product over time. This and Amplitude's impressive customer list is exciting for the company's long-term prospects. At the same time, the stock recently plummeted, falling more than 50% since its Q4 2021 earnings report due to the company calling for 2022 revenue growth of just 35% to 40%, a notable slow-down from 2021 when revenue grew 63% year over year. Management attributed the softer guidance to 2021 being a stronger-than-average year for the company. So when you grab a $20 bill to pay for a dinner on the go this week, think about putting that money into one of these three potential winners.1. SoFi TechnologiesBanking is a massive and old industry that goes back centuries. SoFi also acquired Galileo in 2020 for $1.2 billion, a technology platform that helps create digital payment cards and banking products.SoFi recently received regulatory approval to become a national bank, which will let the company finance its loans with user deposits, lowering its own cost of capital and increasing its profitability. The company produced $1.0 billion in revenue in 2021, and as its vision for becoming a conglomerate of fintech services becomes a reality, SoFi could continue growing for years to come.2. Palantir TechnologiesA mathematician in the United Kingdom once said that \"data is the new oil. The company itself believes in \"augmenting human intelligence, not replacing it.\"Palantir started in the early 2000s, first gaining traction with the United States government. A variety of agencies in the government use Palantir, including Homeland Security, Defense, and more. Palantir has expanded into the private sector to work with companies, but the government remains Palantir's largest customer, contributing 58% of revenue in 2021.Even though revenue from commercial accounts grew just 31% in 2021 compared to government revenue's 47% increase, the number of Palantir's commercial clients tripled during the year. This could lead to solid revenue growth down the road because the company has a multi-phase selling process that generates revenue once its software becomes mission-critical for its customers.3.
